Our full-day Ally Skills Workshop is designed to help people of any ethnicity or gender become better advocates for womxn. Like the main conference, it will take place at Mills College on Saturday, January 26, 2019. In addition to attending the conference keynotes, participants will attend interactive ally skills training led by Kim Tran and Willie Jackson of ReadySet Consulting and enjoy lunch from Pinx Catering. ReadySet is an Oakland-based firm, headed by Y-Vonne Hutchinson (above), who led last year’s Allies Workshop. Attendance will be strictly limited to 75 participants.

Through a combination of learning and development, small and large group discussions, and skill acquisition sessions, Kim and Willie will provide new ways to foster critical conversations about difference and equality. The trainings provide concrete, actionable tools to empower employees and leaders to advocate for themselves and others. Participants will leave with a strong working definition of allyship, including knowing how to recognize when marginalization occurs in the workplace and when and how to intervene.

Last year, the Allies Workshop sold out. We encourage you to get your ticket now and to join our low-volume Ally Skills mailing list below.
