Carolynn is a Program Manager with Code Nation, a non-profit that seeks to equip students in under-resourced schools with the fundamental coding skills and professional experiences that together create access to careers in technology. She studied Computer Science and Linguistics at UC Santa Cruz before becoming a public school teacher in Las Vegas and beginning a career in STEM education. She joined Code Nation with the hopes of equipping more students with the technical skills they need to join the 21st-century workforce. Carolynn is passionate about educational equity and critical, culturally responsive pedagogy.
