Juanita Dion

Juanita Dion is the program strategy lead for IBM San Francisco City Developers’ Advocacy team. She has wide diverse background with Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and Music Education and Master degree in Electrical Engineering which her thesis is in Signal Processing Wireless Detection with a joined project effort with US Department of Defense and Virginia Tech R&D; later moved and transferred her scholarship to Michigan State University in Signal processing of fracture detection for Nuclear Facility. She joined IBM Information Management System Z with Java onDemand products, later expanded her expertise in areas of DevOps, Product Development, Release and Complex Program Management for Global technical teams. Her passion and expertise are to bring technical teams focusing on the company’s big visions and break them down into executable deliverables aligning short and long terms customers’ success. She was 2012 YWCA Silicon Valley TWIN award recipient in Emerging Leaders category and was awarded as IBM Silicon Valley Volunteer of the Year in 2015.
